Thomas / Hemmelmann / Jones / Kneba
„Lieben Sie Brahms?“

Alexandra Thomas – Mezzosopran
Fabian Hemmelmann – Bariton
Eric Quirante Kneba – Viola
Lara Anne Jones – Klavier

Alexandra Thomas and Fabian Hemmelmann are taking their audience into the world of Johannes Brahms’ love songs. He wasn’t just a profound and sensitive source of melodies: In his spirited duets, he at times also displayed a far more casual tone, which is sure to evoke a smile or two among listeners.

Duo Böttcher / Hashimoto

Angelica Böttcher – Mezzosopran
Yoshiko Hashimoto – Klavier

Angelica Böttcher and Yoshiko Hashimoto are presenting two vocal classics of the modern age: Alban Berg’s „Seven Early Songs“ written in the early years of the 20th century and „Aparition“ by his American colleague George Crumb, premiered in New York 1981. Literary and musical material are mutually enriching each other here.
