Kurdish singer Mehmet Akbas and his band Per Sound are celebrating their debut at the Musiknacht. Akbas is taking his audi- ence on a journey into his personal sound world in which Kurdish traditions are interpreted in a contempo- rary fashion.

With his new quartet „Rætur“ („Root“) Lars Duppler, son to a German father and an Icelandic mother, is embarking on a search for historical traces.
